Sugar Waxing

Sugaring is a natural alternative to waxing that’s gentler on the skin and great for sensitive areas or ingrown hairs. Hair is removed in the natural direction of growth, and many clients notice softer regrowth over time.

It’s not wax… it’s an ancient form of hair removal using a paste made of 3 simple ingredients: Lemon, Sugar, and Water

Why you might want to try sugaring:

  • Gentler on sensitive skin- only adheres to hair follicle

  • Water-soluble and easy to clean up

  • Helps REDUCE ingrowns

  • Softer regrowth over time

  • Great for gentle areas on face and body

  • Removed in the natural direction of hair growth- less breakage, damage and overall smoother skin

  • Does sugaring hurt? Most clients describe sugaring as more comfortable than waxing, especially after the first appointment. Because hair is removed in the direction of growth, there is less pulling and breakage.

  • How long does hair need to be? Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (roughly 2–3 weeks of growth) for best results. If you can pinch it, I can sugar it!

  • How long do results last? Most clients enjoy smooth skin for 3–5 weeks, depending on hair growth cycle and treatment area.

  • Can I get sugared if I have sensitive skin? Sugaring is often a great option for sensitive skin because the paste is simple and water-soluble.

  • Will hair grow back thinner? With consistent appointments, hair will grow back softer, finer, and more sparse over time.

  • What should I avoid before my appointment? Avoid heavy lotions/oils day of service. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before. Avoid shaving between appointments.

  • What should I avoid after sugaring? For 24 hours avoid hot tubs/saunas, heavy sweating or intense workouts, tanning/sun exposure, and fragranced products on treated areas.
